He has equipped his combine with advanced straight-cut and stripper-header technology. He direct seeds with low disturbance disc openers, and is pleased with the outcome so far. Many of the co-benefits associated with tall stubble can begin to dispel the traditional arguments and worries that are still common among new direct seeders and growers who favor tillage.
