Summary
· Toadflax can be troublesome in direct seeded fields if not managed diligently. Prevention of this and other perennial weeds should be practised.
· Once established, toadflax cannot be controlled with in-crop herbicides.
· Pre-harvest glyphosate is a key part of a long-term toadflax control strategy, aided by suppression from pre-seeding glyphosate, in-crop herbicides and higher seeding rates.
